Our Team

Michael Uzar, MJ, PT, DPT, CPHRM

Mike brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare — with a unique blend of clinical, legal, and operational expertise. As a former practicing Physical Therapist turned Risk and Insurance Manager he has led incident response and worked on quality and compliance initiatives, and consulted on high priority real time matters involving clinical risk, professional liability and regulatory compliance.
Mike holds a Master of Jurisprudence in Health Law with a Certificate in Compliance Studies from Loyola University Chicago and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from American International College. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) through the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Mike is passionate about helping healthcare providers proactively identify  and manage risk, reduce exposure, and create systems that protect both patients and clinical practice owners.
